Ok, two bonus pages on Ship in a Bottle, 5 more pages of the White Lightning project, and I also promised DarkZuri I’d get to her BGR short before the end of this year. So, where does that leave the “canonical” storyline? Well, I’m getting there. y’see, once I get the final two bonus pages done and the 5 remaining pages of the WL project, I can settle back into a semi-regular update schedule. I’m also in the process of purging all of the junk I’ve been carrying around with me all my life. And then there is Starship Moonhawk. I committed to bringing that back to Friday’s Starting in September.

So most likely, before, or during the launch of the Lavenders next month (I hope.. lol), I will finish “Where there’s a Will…” on the BGR side of things, bang out the colors for DarkZuri’s contribution, then get back on this bizznatch like there’s no tomorrow. So for now, we’re projecting maybe… October? I know, I know. I update so little, it seems like a terrible wait. But, also, there will be some MAJOR changes in my life coming down in December that will spell some very good things for the comic. Very good things, indeed.

Hang in there a little longer, folks. Who knows. I may add some narrative and background and see about getting some bonus materials to spank to– er, enjoy *cough* during this latest, seemingly interminable hiatus.

So, here’s the latest: I have 2.5 more Ship in a Bottle Bonus pages to work on, The Lavenders has been postponed until Aug. 15. When I am done with the “Bonus” comics, provided I have not been shanghaied by another project, I will resume the current arc of Blue-Gray rhapsody, which has 4 pages left to go, and then I have a 5 page story I merely need to color drawn by DarkZuri. I am hoping to squeeze Peppermint Saga back in between finishing the BGR story and starting the next. So chances are that I will have something going again by August. I don’t want to get TOO specific in case I get waylaid by another commission/paid assignment/bonus/etc. But I am genuinely hoping to have this sumbitch rolling again BEFORE I start rolling on Starship Moonhawk in September. Here’s hoping, folks. *crosses fingers*

Blue Gray Rhapsody

Ok! So… been busy over here. My computer is almost a smoking pile of slag. Thank you, “anti-Malware 2010″ virus! Be careful if you see an ad on Google Ads that reads “Death to the PC”, close the browser, immediately. There’s no real defense against this thing except to avoid it as it is persistent and will keep poking at your virus software until it finds a weakness. Insidious.

However! I did manage to complete three more BGR pages from the “Where There’s a Will…” storyline, so REJOICE! Click the link at the left here to see. Awesome lesbian sex, more gushing and a anal double-ender! How can you go wrong?

Blue Gray Rhapsody

In case folks were wondering what I was doing all this week, I have been working on a new set of pages for Peppermint Saga: Blue-Gray Rhapsody! Page 4 of the opening short “Where There’s a Will…” is live, and there’s more where that came from. So if you would, please take a detour over there and give it a look see. This version of Peppermint is much more… adventurous, sexually, I should say. And if you have a hentai character out there that amuses me, she can hook up with them, too. Inquire at the contact e-mail above if you’re so inclined.

Also, be advised that my travel plans have been somewhat revised. I should be in San Diego NEXT week, starting on Monday. So there will probably be additional disruptions in the Pep SAga, BGR and Ship in a Bottle update schedules. This s not a “long-term” thing. I just need some time away from.. well, everything, to be honest. Although there is a very good chance at LEAST ONE of the projects will update. I’m just not sure which one will have art ready to go in time. So, as I said before: we’ll see how it goes.

Regarding “Truthwear” and “The Truth Brigade”

Ever wonder what I was talking about there? Y’know, the little graphic on the right that says you can buy “Truthwear” at our Cafe Press store? Well, I was sitting here thinking about how I could merchandise a series that has, shall we say, dubious mass-appeal due to content. I mean, seriously… who wants to run around wearing the shirt, or drink from the coffe mug, or carry the stuffed bear, or (God Forbid…) wear the THONG of a porno comic series? So I got to thinking about how I could cleverly advertise the series to “folks in the know”. It’s a tongue-in-cheek joke, so to speak. Truth is, by far, the most popular character I have ever created. Probably due to his unabashed lechery and penchant for crude one-liners that somehow come off with a air of casual sophistication in their subtle wit. Maybe. And he is SO convertible to a logo! So, “Truthwear” was born. To kick things off, I decided to offer an “introductory pricing” where I take the most minimal margin Cafe Press offers by default. This gives you an opportunity to support the comic and get something in return. Keep in mind, if the comic’s popularity were to suddenly spike, the prices will return to normal markup and you’ll have to spend a few extra bucks plus shipping to get the same offers. We have shirts, mugs, stuffed toys, mousepads, buttons, stickers, and even poster art. By the way, I will be upgrading the posters as new work becomes available. Cafe Press will do “tasteful artistic nudes”, so I may take advantage of that. Please consider these offers while the pricing is still relatively good. So, I tossed some junk that wasn’t working for me, added a couple more to try, who knows where it all might lead. For the IMMEDIATE future, it means that you get to look at a more streamlined site with greater functionality and less 4th Grade HTML hanging around. Wow… did anyone catch those tables I used on the Links page? Whuf! So yeah. Now, there *IS* a lot of advertising, and I do apologize for that, but it is a necessary evil. since I give this comic, and Ship in a Bottle away for free, I have to make cayshola somehow. And rather than be an asshole and hide all my goodies behind a magic curtain, I play it on the “honor system” that some of the items displayed on this page may appeal to some of my readers and encourage them to try it out while between updates here. And a lot of them have really good content. So if that’s your bailiwick, please consider giving them a shot.

If you clicked our link from HFH, please know that while we haven’t updated in a little while, that is about to change, abruptly, this week. Y’see, I’ve been working on comics for a publisher, so I’ve had to put my projects on brief hold. I have a new page drawn, and all it’s waiting for is inking and coloring. So I am hoping to have it up in a day or two, tops. In the meantime, feel free to browse the links on the site, particularly “SHIP IN A BOTTLE” at the right over there. It’s my sexy, fantasy, genie comic on which I collaborate with a friend. It updates every Friday, and we have an interesting initiative going on there that may fascinate you. Secondly, although there is only three pages there now, BGR will have at least one arc completed very soon. After I finish my current bit for the publisher, I am going to bang out the remaining 8 pages of my own work, and then pester my follow-up artists to finish the fifth page of her mini arc. At which point, there will be 16 pages of that to enjoy. So all-in-all, we’re going to have some great stuff for you very, very soon. So in case anyone was watching, this motherfuck has come back to life. I’m pretty pleased with it so far, and now that the first sex scene is over, it’s time to get into the actual PLOT of this episode. Be keeping an eye out for a kind of “monthly donation” incentive. Now, why do it say it in that seemingly cagey kinda way? Here’s the deal: certain payment processors do not want to be affiliated with smut. That’s ok. Because what I am giving you for your donation is a piece of SLIGHTLY or MOSTLY but not COMPLETELY naughty gifts as a sort of “thank you” for purchasing a slice of my time. My ideal scenario is to set things up so that you can get funny little “one shot” comics (a single, full page panel) with funny dialog, compromising situations and general sexienss. But, if people feel this is a problem, rather than making life difficult for me, financially, let’s work a better plan out. I am more than happy to put a whole bunch of random, funny and sexy stuff behind a “pay wall” and folks can access the content for as small of a pittance as CCBill will allow me to offer. I’d rather do that, legitimately, than create some kind of grudge, perceived or otherwise, with my fans and fellow internet denizens. So, this posting is your opportunity to tell me what you would prefer: a nod and a wink with some good will from me for your charity, or a full-on members only section. If we end up doing the latter, rest assured that I WILL NOT NOW, NOR WILL I EVER make the primary comic or the BGR spinoff part of that deal. they are free and will remain so as long as I am able. But I need a little extra skrilla-dilla to cover some minor expenses. This in turn will motivate me to spend more time on this and Ship in a Bottle than I do at my “day job”, and an increase in productivity will categorically benefit you, as you will start getting more pages per month for your investment. So please sound off in the comments area here, I visit the site several times a day and will approve any legitimate remark immediately for everyone’s consideration.

I know, I know. I’ve been very quiet of late. I’d say “sorry” or something, but I know that’s not what you want to hear. Truth is, I’ve been very, VERY busy working on Ship in a Bottle (http://shipinbottle.pepsaga.com), the “sister” softcore comic to Peppermint Saga, as well as Starship Moonhawk, my “straight” sci-fi series. It’s a ton of work considering your average page takes 2-6 hours to make. And I do have a regular job, too. which is something I am attempting to rectify so I can do this full-time. Blue Gray Rhapsody

I know, we keep meeting like this, don’t we. But there is some good news for genuine Peppermint fans! Blue Gray Rhapsody, my parody/cameo comic set in an alternate universe is live! Follow Princess Peppermint as she scours the known universe in search of hidden treasure. As a renowned treasure hunter, she only goes after the most valuable and rarest artifacts known to sentient beings, but there’s a catch: close on her heels are agents of a nemesis who will stop at nothing to ensure that Peppermint’s reputation as the best is forever tarnished! Couple that with the constant distraction of her insatiable libido and the many, many guest stars who want to sex her and her friends up, and you have a recipe for sexy hilarity! Updates Saturdays (when there’s a guest star and script. XD)

Basically, I have brokered deals with a handful of artists who are known for their pinups and “hentai” comics and stories to bring you Peppermint Saga: Blue Gray Rhapsody (the title is a joke on Project Ako: Blue Side and Gray Side because those episodes took place in another universe where things were almost a mirror opposite to the canon world). so far, with the help of Warchief, Verias and DarkZuri (you can find them all on Fur Affinity), I will be bringing you three different episodes of which each is anywhere from 5 to 11 pages in length. It’s mostly seamy sex in ancient ruins and forbidden castles at the far reaches of the universe, but I still think it can be great fun. So check back often. I am drawing the first episode because Warchief is not really a comic artist, but rather exclusively a pinup artist. But he’ll be contributing a handful of pinups related to the story he helped me edit guest-starring his half-elf gal, Willow.

Hey, also, if you feel like helping out, we now have a donation button at the right. A few bucks now and then would be very helpful in keeping me going, but there’s no obligation, of course.
